Case Study · Asphalt sealcoating
Kevin's Seal Coating
A contractor site built around the one thing that sells sealcoating: before-and-after photographs.
Live site: kevinssealcoating.com
The brief
Sealcoating is a trade where the finished result speaks louder than any description. A freshly sealed driveway next to an unsealed one makes the case instantly. Kevin had no website, which meant that argument was never being made to anyone searching online — and homeowners comparing contractors were choosing from whoever showed up first.
What was built
Before-and-after gallery
The centrepiece. Paired images of the same driveway before and after, which does more selling than any amount of written copy.
Service pages
Sealcoating, crack filling, and line striping given their own explanations rather than one undifferentiated list.
Quote request flow
A short form capturing surface type, approximate size, and location, so quotes can be prepared without a site visit.
Custom logo
Designed in-house as part of the project, giving the business a consistent identity across the site, signage, and invoices.
How it was built
Hand-coded and deployed as static files, so the site loads fast on a phone in a driveway with one bar of signal.
